Hero MTB Himalaya

Hero MTB Himalaya is one of Asia’s most  respected seven-day mountain bike stage races,  held in the Himalayan region of Himachal  Pradesh, India. The race traditionally starts in  Shimla and takes riders through rugged  mountain trails, dense forests, remote villages,  and breathtaking Himalayan landscapes before  finishing in Dharamshala. In 2018, riders from 14  different countries participated, making it one of  Asia’s premier international mountain bike  events. In 2018, I had the honor of representing  Nepal in Hero MTB Himalaya, the first  international mountain bike race of my life.  Racing alongside professional riders from 14  countries was an unforgettable experience. I  was proud to finish second in the Masters  category, earning a podium finish in my very first  international mountain bike race. This  achievement strengthened my confidence,  reinforced my belief in my abilities, and inspired

me to continue pursuing greater challenges in  mountain biking. For me, Hero MTB Himalaya  was more than just a race. It marked the  beginning of my international mountain bike  racing career, and remains one of the most  memorable and meaningful experiences of my  life.
