Sea to Summit

Sea to Summit is a unique expedition created by  our Austrian friend Sabrina Filzmoser, aiming to  travel from sea level all the way to the summit of

Mount Everest. In 2022, after recovering from  cancer, this expedition became my first major  endurance challenge. Together with Laxmi  Magar, Nepal's National Women's Mountain Bike  Champion, I had the honor of supporting Sabrina  by completing the cycling portion of the project.  Our ride began at sea level in Digha, India,  covering 1,185 kilometers through India and  Nepal to Bupsa in the Solukhumbu District. From  there, Sabrina continued on foot to Everest Base  Camp and successfully summited Mount  Everest, fulfilling the ultimate goal of the Sea to  Summit project. For me, completing this 1,185  km journey was more than just an endurance  challenge. It marked my return to long-distance  adventure after cancer and reminded me that  determination, teamwork and resilience can

overcome even the greatest challenges. I am  deeply grateful to Sabrina Filzmoser for inviting  me to be part of this inspiring expedition. I also  want to thank Laxmi Magar for sharing that  unforgettable journey me as a teammate. It was  an honor to contribute to a project that  connected sea level with the world's highest  mountain, proving that with courage,  commitment, and perseverance, extraordinary  dreams can become reality.
