Yak Attack

The Yak Attack is a high-altitude mountain bike  stage race.

That goes through Nepal's Manang district,  crosses the Thorong La Pass (5,416 meters),  and continues down into the Mustang Valley.  Riders traverse challenging Himalayan terrain,  testing their skill and endurance. From 2017  to2026, I proudly took part in Yak Attack seven  times, winning the Masters category five times  and finishing second twice. After being  diagnosed with cancer in 2020, I returned to  racing with renewed determination and won  again after cancer. For me, Yak Attack is more  than a race. It represents courage, perseverance,  and a deep respect for the Himalayas. My story  shows that while cancer can change your life, it  does not have to define your future.
